How would you like to get worldwide recognition for the work that you do everyday? If that sounds appealing to you, listen up..

Jesse Briggs, founder of Yellow Strawberry Global Salons and President of Style Star USA, Inc. believes that every hairdresser or hairstylist should have the opportunity to be called a Style Artist. Based on that belief, he has created a global contest to find the next Style Star. Anybody can enter, as long as you are a licensed hair professional. Each contestant will be listed in Style Star’s worldwide directory. There will be 10 finalists and 1 grand prize winner. 

Matthew Nischler of Australia was 2008′s winner and you can see an example of his work on the right. 

Applicants, you have until September 1, 2010 to enter. Winners will be announced on October 1, 2010.
