Spring Hair Forecast
Happy first day of spring! Hope you are having a great (hair) day!
Here’s the PGH Spring Hair Forecast. These are trends that we think are going to be big for Spring 2009.
1. Texture. Stick straight hair is out and waves and volume are in. That’s good for us PGHers.

2. Nighttime Glam. Be on the look-out for more ladies sporting pulled back ‘dos when going out at night. We expect to see more slicked back ponytails and buns, especially as the weather starts to warm up.

3. Accessories. Headbands were huge last season and they will continue to be popular, but we think big, fun hair clips will start to hit the scene pretty soon.

4. Bangs. Fringe is in and we expect to see even more girls experimenting with bangs in Spring. We like Jessica Alba’s new do.

5. Color. Vibrant reds and dark browns seem to be all the rage. Lady Gaga’s platinum blonde may catch the eye of some as well.

Above all these things, having healthy hair is essential. Make sure you are using a deep conditioner once a week, not over washing, using a heat protective product when straightening, and get a good haircut! Hello Spring
