Wedding Day hair tips

My sister, Sasha, got married this weekend!!! It was a very exciting time for all of our family and the wedding was absolutely beautiful and perfect.
Now is a great time to tell you about my Hairgod. My sister and I discovered him about 8 years ago and we have been practicing what he preaches ever since. He is amazing and has taught me so much about how to care for my hair. His name is Miller.
Naturally, my sister asked Miller to do our hair for her wedding day. I just wanted to share a few of his tips to look your best on your special day:
1. Choose a look that will be natural for you. If you NEVER wear your hair up, you may want to think twice about wearing it up on a day that will forever live in pictures.
2. Let your hair part take its normal course. Messing with your hair part, or parting it completely different than usual will make you look less like yourself.
3. Definitely, 100%, absolutely schedule a hair and makeup trial prior to your wedding day to discuss/practice what you’d like with your stylist.
4. Decide if you’d like your bridal party to look uniformed or a little different. If uniform, choose a style that will fit everybody. If different, let everyone choose what they’d like to do so that everyone looks their personal best.
5. Finally, be specific about your hair. What you’d like, where you’d like your veil to be placed, etc. Your wedding day hair is almost like a tattoo, it’ll permanently live in pictures, so make sure you’re absolutely happy before you walk down the aisle.
