Eufora for Curly Hair

On my recent trip to Mexico, I took along Eufora’s new Curl’n Defining Solution to see how it holds up in rainy, humid weather. I am happy to report that it did!

If you love what mousse does to your curls but hate the alcohol drying-out factor, this may be a product for you. I used 5-6 pumps (remember, Big Hair) and scrunched, just like what I do with mousee. A little bit of hairspray on my frizzy tips and I was out the door on to my next Mexican adventure.

Eufora is big on using certified organic aloe vera in all their products to make sure your hair gets the moisture it needs. Their products are only sold in select salons and spas.

Here are some tips the company suggests for managing curly hair:

1. Shampoo Right.
a. Only massage shampoo at the scalp and gently work lather down the length. Blot dry
wet hair – never rub dry or wrap turban style.
b. Use low PH shampoos like Eufora and only shampoo every 2nd or 3rd day. Other days,
revitalize curl with Curl’n Defining Solution.

2. Condition Right.
a. For coarse hair use Moisture Solution and fine hair use Daily Balance. Don’t rinse
completely.
b. Leave just a bit of conditioner in the hair and detangle in the shower by using fingers to
comb through hair beginning at the ends and working your way up.
c. Make Hydration Leave-In Conditioner your best friend. Use often and liberally especially
when spending time outside.

3. Use the Right Styling Tools.
a. Work a liberal amount of Curl’n Defining Solution gently through towel blotted hair. Do
not rub briskly.
b. Take your time by sectioning hair and working product through each section.
c. Begin forming curl pattern by using fingers or scrunch with palms.
d. Let air dry or use a blow-dryer diffuser and refrain from using brushes.
e. Use Curl’n Spray Revitalizer on dry hair to rejuvinate curl.

4. Deep Treat Often.
a. Use a deep conditioner such as Urgent Repair at least once per week to ensure curls are
hydrated.
