Why am I gray?
Have you ever wondered what exactly causes hair to turn gray as we age? A team of European scientists have found the answer!!
Apparently, our hair cells produce small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. As we grow older, more and more hydrogen peroxide is produced. So, our hair becomes bleached from within, and eventually grows out gray and white. Who would have thought??
Next time you’re about to make fun of someone who bleaches their hair, think twice… sooner or later, we all fall victim to hydrogen peroxide!!
