Up-do’s were the hot hair trend at the 6^th Annual Hollywood Style Awards in Los Angeles, sponsored by EXPRESS, Sebastian Professional, and Dawn.

Hayden Panettiere’s up-do was on the softer side. Her loose curls were pinned back, leaving a few front pieces to frame her face. This hairstyle looks effortless but does take some time to re-create.

Teen heartthrob Selena Gomez’s up-do was pulled back in a straight bun with side bangs. She took home the Style Ingénue Award…congrats Selena! The teen princess looked stunning in a black dress with exaggerated shoulders.

Sophia Bush pulled it all back! This is a more sophisticated, yet daring look. Actually, many people can’t pull this hairstyle off. But Sophia makes it work with a pair of large dangly earrings. She presented Max Azria with the award for Fashion Visionary and stole the show with her one-of-a-kind Max Azria lace dress, which Azria handmade for her especially for the event.
