Here’s a few nuggets of interesting findings from the survey:

Forty-one percent of respondents said the most drastic style change they’ve done for a client is dying the hair a bright color, followed by a mowhawk (26 percent), shaved head (8 percent) and mullet (6 percent).

Not surprisingly, a break-up is the most frequent occasion of making a drastic hair change as reported by 34 percent of the stylists.

In an interview with Vibe.com, Chrisette had this to say about her big chop:

“My advice to women all around the country is to keep it simple. Don’t make everything such a big deal and don’t be so judgmental as to why other people do things. Jst enjoy them. . . Sometimes I wish, especially in African American community, that Black women would just calm down and have a little bit more fun.”

Celeb stylist Ted Gibson perfected the beautiful and very talented Anne Hathaway’s hair last night for the 2010 Met Ball. With such a statement, embellished dress, it was important for Ted to maintain a classy, simple hairstyle. Re-create Anne’s hair in three easy steps.

I give pop singer Pink credit for always taking risks with her hair…but this new boyish ‘do is just not working for me. Really? Pink? What were you thinking? There is nothing sexy about this haircut. Maybe she was going for the Halle Berry look and her stylist got it all wrong. Her color is pretty plain jane too…don’t you agree? Like her better as a blonde.

What’s Kristin Cavallari’s preferred brand of hair products? Celebrity Style Guide is reporting that it’s Kerastase, specifically their Reflection Bain Miroir and Chroma Chroma Reflect Masque. Both of these products were voted “Best Buy” in 2007 by InStyle Magazine. If you have color-treated hair, try giving Kerastase a chance to prevent breakage and fading.

Katherine Heigl has vowed never to dye her hair again for a movie and instead says she will only wear wigs. Her reasoning? The harsh chemicals are ruining her lovely locks. Not to mention, too much time gone to waste in salons.

She explains, “I did it about a month ago… I’m supposed to have dark hair (for One for the Money) and recently discovered the beauty and the wonder of a really well-done wig.”

“I did have to go back to blonde for poster shoots for a film I have coming out this summer (Killers), and the wigs are so fantastic I thought from now on I should just wear wigs. It takes half the time.”

When talking about her new brunette ‘do to Access Hollywood she says,“I’m really enjoying it.” “There’s something about it that feels more sophisticated. I feel like a lady. The blonde made me feel more giggly. It’s very odd.”

In a recent interview with Pop Eater, Sarah explains…

“I call that ‘Disney hair.’ They just curl it and then you put your fingers through it … It looks like everyone on Disney.”
