Abigail Ricarte was getting ready for a party one night when she realized that she needed something to spruce up her outfit – a headband. She ventured out to a store where she knew she could find one, but Abigail was not pleased with the selections, or the prices. Her solution? Create a headband of her own for the party. She got so wrapped up in creating that she never actually made it out. And so, Bambako was born.
This new designer is quickly making her mark in the fashion world, with her vast array of colorful, textured headbands. Abigail finds inspiration everywhere around her, and it is obvious when you see how different each of her headbands are. She uses silk, chiffon, ribbons, feathers, jewels, and more to create one of a kind designs. There is something for everyone.
