Hi PGHs!! It has been a while since I’ve posted. My job took me all around the country for a month or so, setting up different events. I was in all different kinds of weather, so you know I had plenty of headbands/scarves, etc. to tame my hair!!

Anyways, all my events took place on college campuses, which is a great place to see what styles people are trying out. The most popular thing I saw (especially out West) was, believe it or not, ribbons! Are they making a comeback?

I’m not talking about ribbons daintily tied around your ponytail. More often than not, girls had the ribbon placed on their head like a headband, tied into a floppy bow. The bow was usually worn to the side, a la Blair Waldorf (see picture).

Ribbons are a great hair accessory because you can use them in so many ways. Tie it around your head for a hippie look. For the good old fashioned preppy look, tie it around your ponytail. Thread one in with your braid. Use it to pull your hair into a low-slung side pony. The possibilities are endless! And the best part…you can get ribbons for so cheap! Go to Michael’s, or any local craft store, for a large supply of colorful ribbons and let us know your fave way to wear them
